One of the missions of our data infrastructure team is to generate animations which simulate video sequences by making use of various 3D objects. This poses a lot of challenges from ensuring realistic movement of the 3D objects to dynamically adjusting the animation scenario in such way that collisions between objects are avoided. Your job will be to help us improve our current animation engine from adding support for using AutoDesk FBX animations to using motion-capture techniques to make movement more realistic.

Skills to be learned:

  • C/C++ programming
  • 3D graphic algorithms (compute intersections, CSG operations, character rigging, etc)
  • basics of operating a 3D content creation app(ex Blender, Autodesk Maya, etc)
