As a Brand Platform Engineer you will be part of our engineering team involved to migrate our systems to the new and unified SingleSignOn and Ordering Process. This is an important step for the brand, as we will start offering our customers an improved and more secured order experience. You will get good exposure and understanding on working with databases, PHP technologies, Rest APIs; all these while following best practices and exploring on test engineering. Good communication skills are required. Analytical skills are also considered.

We’re looking for a passionate PHP Engineer willing to get involved into high performance, scalable architectures and technologies. You will have an active role in developing and supporting software that drives the world’s largest domain name registrar and web hosting provider.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers (development and test engineering) on designing, developing, maintaining and supporting the released software.
  • Support platform quality and stability by increasing and maintaining unit, integration and end to end testing.
  • Adhere and promote quality standards.
  • Ensure software under development is managed with appropriate source code control and release processes.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot and document issues, helping project teams to identify the root causes and resolutions.
  • Learn to work on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Regularly update documentation.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of PHP.
  • Working with REST API.
  • Comfortable using GIT.
  • Some exposure to Linux/Unix commands.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).
