The Lenovo development team is looking for a highly motivated student with good Python and Bash knowledge.
You will be a member of a global team that is building solutions made from the best of class hardware servers with business software from SAP SE Company.
About the internship:
The paid internship will take three months (from July to September) with a full-time schedule and standard company benefits in order for you to have the complete Lenovo Employee Experience.
During this program, you will work on an end-to-end project, starting with the design and architecture to testing and implementation.
You will have constant guidance and support from our mentors and peers as well as the tools and learning platforms to help you succeed in the delivery of the project. At the end of the internship, you will have the chance of presenting your masterpiece project to Lenovo’s Management Team and unlock your technical abilities.
In this position, you will:
- Write code according to team quality standards
- Work with real data center equipment and cutting-edge technologies
- Propose technical solutions while taking part in discussions & design planning
- Leverage your Python, Bash, and Linux skills to enhance our solution installer in order to deploy SAP HANA on ThinkAgile VX
Apply if you have:
- Good Python and Bash knowledge
- Good understanding of the Linux operating system
- Strong debugging skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a global team
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Would be a plus:
- Previous Internship or past work experience
- Experience with a source code control system, GIT is preferred
- Experience with virtualization technologies and tools
