Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and tests the latest client requirements for an existing live Java web-based application
  • Contributes to investigating and resolving incidents, while following established processes
  • Involved in the entire project lifecycle (from design and documentation to testing and maintenance)
  • Focuses on project priorities, deadlines and deliverables


  • Qualification and competencies:
  • Familiarity with Java Enterprise Edition (web applications, web services, deployment, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with Relational Databases and SQL – preferred Oracle Databases and PL/SQL
  • Experience with SVN (branching, merging, tracking code changes)
  • Familiarity with Design Patterns and Best Practices
  • Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent in English (both spoken and written) is a must
  • Positive, “can do” attitude
