The Microprocessors Software team in Bucharest is responsible for enabling the Linux BSP on NXP’s i.MX family microprocessors. Our work focuses on the lower levels of the operating system such as the kernel, as well as delivering fully functional Yocto Linux images.
Power and performance benchmarking is a crucial part in the development process to ensure that operating systems meet the power and performance consumption standards when running on the i.MX family. The internship will consist in managing Lab hardware and taking care of local inventory.
We are looking for a very well-organized person, passionate about technology/hardware and wiling to learn new things when time allows.
- Participate with SW PMs in weekly meetings; order and keep track of new HW boards and accessories; map them on different software releases;
- Communication with admins for ordering new HW and adding new HW in the inventory; – Keeping track of all local inventory and distributing HW to engineers when necessary;
- Lab maintenance.
