Location: Iasi, RO Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term Duration: From July 1, 2025 to Sept 30, 2025
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Fabric Intern to join our team and support the profiling, pre-Silicon verification, RTL design or microbenchmarking of AMD’s high-end Machine Intelligence products. In this role you will participate in one or more of (but not limited to) the below assignments:
Collaborate with senior engineers and/or designers to perform profiling, pre-Silicon Verification, RTL design or microbenchmarking of next generation high performance Microprocessor designs and related IPs Develop, document and execute on verification testplans at unit level of design hierarchy. Develop high level language testbench components including stimulus drivers, behavioral models, monitors and checkers in SystemVerilog. Develop, simulate and debug directed/random stimulus to ensure design functionality according to specifications.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are currently enrolled in a Romania-based University bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
If you have knowledge/experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply:
Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as C++ /Python /C /Perl /Shell
- Exposure to Verilog and System Verilog
- Familiarity with UVM is a nice to have
- Exposure to the digital systems and computer architecture
- Familiarity with functional verification tools by VCS, Cadence, Mentor Graphics
- Familiar with development and debugging in Linux / Unix / Windows environments
- Fundamentals of logic design (FSM, gates, registers, flops, timing, HDL
