During 24 June - 12 July 2024, you will work onsite with other students on developing skills like:

  • Writing Verilog or System Verilog applications
  • Learn essential algorithms in a traditional programming language
  • Work on advanced Digital Design and Digital Design Verification projects
  • Rigorously improve your engineering skills in a real work environment

Key Qualifications:

  • Programming basics in pseudocode
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of digital integrated circuits
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming

Projects we propose:

Each enrolled student will have to choose 1 of these 3 programs:

Program 1: Integrated Digital Circuits Introduction

  • For students in the 1'st or 2'nd year
  • We will go through the basics of digital integrated circuits
  • We will learn Verilog
  • We will implement a binary calculator architecture in Verilog

Program 2: Processor architecture basics

  • For students in the 2'nd or 3'rd year
  • We will go through the basics of computer architecture
  • We will learn Verilog
  • We will implement a processor based on a proposed architecture

Program 3: Hardware implementation for a LIFO/FIFO structure

  • For students in the 2'nd or 3'rd year
  • We will go through digital design concepts
  • We will learn Verilog
  • We will implement a LIFO/FIFO structure
  • We will implement verification concepts
