Job summary

We're looking for a junior team member with the potential to become an MVP automation software tester. Your primary role will revolve around applying QA principles and ensuring the quality of Arcanna.AI, our cybersecurity platform. You will have the chance to learn and work with experienced software engineers, researchers and subject matter experts, in a fast-paced environment with a diverse technology stack. This is a full time internship, we expect to extend the internship to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to understand feature requirements and how to write clear test cases for them.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code to contribute to the overall functionality of the platform.
• Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
• Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
• Document and report test executions and all identified quality issues from different test environments.
• Track defects to closure and keep the defect repository up-to-date.
• Contribute to the end to end platform testing using Webdriver.IO and TypeScript.
• Participate in daily meetings, sprint planning and retrospective meetings with your colleagues.

About you

• Bachelor studies (ongoing or graduated) in Computer Science at a technical university - mandatory requirement.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and programming principles.
• Highly motivated to learn and grow as a professional.
• Positive attitude towards work and assimilating new concepts.
• Capable of analyzing problems and eagerness to solve them.
• Webdriver.IO or similar knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in English
