The position is part of a newly created team in Cluj-Napoca which will develop and maintain the backend component of a malware analysis system relying on Hypervisors and Memory Introspection, built around the open-sourced HVMI project. The team is responsible with creating the data storage and retrieval components, and the APIs through which the system components will communicate internally.

Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the data storage and retrieval component (Elasticsearch)
• Develop & maintain automated testing tools and processes
• Design & implement internal APIs
• Collaborate with the UI team and the HVMI core development team to ensure proper integration and data flow

Skills and Expertise:

• Programming experience in Python and C / C++
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of RDBMSes and No-SQL (Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of web APIs (REST)
• Linux experience
• Self motivated, fast learner, team player
