We are searching for a candidate to join our team as a Software Developer Intern for the upcoming summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience by working on real-world web development projects.
As a Code11 intern you will:
- Work alongside our experienced developers to create, design, and maintain dynamic and user-friendly web applications
- Have an assigned mentor for your 3 months journey with us
- Gain knowledge of web design concepts, industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Learn something new every day, whether through online tutorials, on-the-job training or knowledge sharing from your colleagues
- Be assigned to work on our projects on digital signature or digital voting platforms
- Participate in knowledge-sharing meetings, team workshops and events
- Be able to celebrate, relax and socialise with us during our summer social activities and gatherings
- Be able to relax playing Mortal Kombat or other games during our breaks
What will you learn:
- Technologies: JavaScript, React, NodeJS, Cloud services
- How to work closely with a development team to guarantee that projects deliver business requirements and are optimised for user experience
- How to improve your best practices regarding code development
- Observe the process behind implementing website features and functionality using modern web development techniques and frameworks
- How to use testing to guarantee optimal performance and user experience
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- How to communicate project progress, status, and issues to team members
What will you bring:
- Knowledge about Computer Science, pursuing a degree program, preferably a final year, related to Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Keen interest and enthusiasm for web development, with a willingness to acquire new skills
- Problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
Good to know:
- The internship will take place in a hybrid way, with higher presence in the office in the first month (we are located in Bucharest close to "Gradina Icoanei" Park).
- We offer flexible working hours, practical training and online courses
- The internship is paid and is only for unemployed students.
- The internship lasts 3 months with a weekly working time of 40 hours. There are 6 days of vacation during these 3 months.
- The starting day will be decided together with the group of interns, but it will not be earlier than the 15th of June no later than the 15th of July.
