About the Internship CrowdStrike is looking to hire Cloud Engineers in the Data Protection Team for Summer 2025. Our team’s mission is to build a unified data security system which enables customers to identify and investigate insider threats, identify access to and movement of sensitive data, and ensure regulatory compliance by mitigating data loss risk. By combining content with context, Data Protection provides deep real-time visibility into what is happening with sensitive data, including data artifacts, as they move from web sources and endpoints to USBs and via web browsers to cloud and SaaS applications.
You will
- Learn Golang and build cloud-based services to support our top-rated security intelligence platform
- Work with AWS, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
- Learn about our massively scalable distributed architecture
- Understand how backend systems work – gaining knowledge of distributed technologies and algorithms, horizontal and vertical scaling, sharding etc.
- Be mentored on web, backend and data storage technologies and our system.
- Leverage and build cloud based systems to help our customers to monitor and protect their sensitive data.
- Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
What You'll Need
- final year Computer Science student
- Familiarity with multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Existing exposure to Go / Java / Python / C++ is considered an advantage
