Our Exciting Opportunity
Your internship as a software developer in the Automation team will get you hands-on experience with enterprise-level applications, Java - Spring based backends with Angular/Prime Faces frontends. Large SQL databases included. Main activities are developing performance monitoring tools, designed specifically for the telecom domain, using ML to better detect anomalies and avoid fake events. You will work along a young team of developers ranging from juniors to seniors, always having around somebody happy to help.
You will:
- Take on development tasks. You will work with Java 8 or 17, Prime Faces;
- Develop new functionalities, write unit tests, build, and test your code;
- Join team meetings;
- Follow industry and team’s best practices in terms of sw development;
- Do integration work – take part in deployment and configuration work;
- Propose improvements; provide support for existing deployments;
- Work closely with the team and the customer.
Qualifications:
- Java / strong OOP principles knowledge;
- Linux (user level) and HTTP knowledge;
- Nice to have (currently using): Spring, Hibernate, SQL, GitLab, Maven, Sonar, Nginx, Tomcat, Docker, RabbitMQ, scripting skills (Python, Bash or any other);
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Good English skills.
