About this opportunity

As an Automated Operations Engineer, you will focus on the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that video services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement performance levels. This opportunity suits you if you are a final year student or fresh graduate, with a passion for technology, proficient in English and with basic Network knowledge. You will receive a 5 month offer, starting with July 2023 and you will work in shifts in a hybrid mode, both from the office and from your home.

You’ll get the opportunity to

  • Learn to create incidents on alert, log them and keep ownership end to end
  • Explore change and release management processes following internal incidents
  • Learn to provide investigate and perform troubleshoot on relevant issues
  • Learn to perform change management and problem management tasks like monitoring coordination for patches and implementation approval of changes
  • Attempt first fix and ad-hoc workaround incident resolution
  • Provide expertise in analysis of major incident management process
  • Monitor IT Infrastructure and video services platforms

Key skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) – in your final year or graduate
  • English proficiency
  • Basic Networking and Linux knowledge
  • Logical approach to solving problems
  • Good interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Eager to learn and improve in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer handling experience is nice to have
