Job description:

This summer practice position is further split in the following sub-domains across different departments, depending on your experience & desired growth path:

  • Digital Design career path: creating a digital design in form of an HDL (hardware description language as VHLD, Verilog, System Verilog) according to given requirement, implementing RTL (register transfer level) and perform RTL and gate level simulations (Eg. via Questasim / NCSim toolchain)

  • Digital Layout career path: performing Synthesis, Equivalence check, Static timing analysis, providing area estimations, generating and handling clock / reset signals, extracting parasitic.

  • Digital verification career path: learning basic verification concepts and interact with UVM – Unified Verification Methodology, creating test-benches, seting-up verification environments and implementing test cases, checkers and coverage rules.

You are best equipped for this role if you are in the third year of studies of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field; You have basic knowledge or interest in:

  • Digital Circuit Design basics curricula (eg. Digital integrated circuits, microprocessor architectures, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms)

  • Digital Circuit simulation (eg. tooling like Modelsim etc.)

  • Independent working style as well as enjoy collaboration on different tasks within the scope of integrated circuit design;

  • Good command of the English language.
