About Lenovo Summer Internship Program: We are inviting students to join our team for a paid Summer Internship Program, kicking off on July 1st. You will have a full-time flexible schedule and company benefits offering a complete Lenovo Employee Experience.

Interns will engage in 3-month projects, collaborating on end-to-end tasks that fuel creativity and innovation, whilst gaining hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, starting with design and architecture, and progressing through testing to implementation. You will receive training, guidance, and mentoring from our local and global experts, supported by tools and learning platforms. Upon completion of the Internship, you will have the opportunity to present your masterpiece to Lenovo’s Management Team, showcasing your technical abilities.

Participants in the Summer Internship Program may also be considered for a full-time position or an extended Internship throughout the year.

Project overview:

Lenovo Solutions Team seeks a highly motivated student with a background and interest in expanding their skill set in software integration and server systems management. You will contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge hyper-converged and virtualization solutions to Lenovo's enterprise customers, centered around Nutanix technologies. Your responsibilities will include integrating various software components into an Automation Platform, enhancing the team's efficiency in day-to-day tasks.

In this position, you will:

• Create and sustain an automation development environment.
• Gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Nutanix solution and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
• Interact with advanced technologies and enterprise-grade data center equipment and integrate this proficiency with software development capabilities.

Apply if you have:

• Good knowledge of NodeJS
• An understanding of REST API concepts or Redfish
• Good understanding of the Linux operating system
• Familiar with virtualization principles
• Good English communication skills

Would be a plus:

• Python knowledge
• Django knowledge
• Database knowledge (MongoDB)
• Familiar with containers technologies (Docker)

Recruitment process:

Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation for a brief phone interview. Those who successfully navigate the phone screening will be invited to the Lenovo office for an Assessment Center Day on the 21st, 22nd and 24th of March. At this event, participants will engage in various activities, meet the Lenovo Team and Technical Mentor, and attend final interviews.
