The Power Management Applications Team is looking for young talents to assist and support new DC/DC Linear and Switching Regulators development. He/she will help the design and development of new evaluation and reference boards, work (being assisted) in the laboratory with modern tools to debug, test and manufacture board prototypes. He/she will benefit of job training and seminars to improve technical skills.
Responsibilities during the internship:
Offer technical assistance for Microchip’s DC-DC Linear, Switching Regulators and Switching Power Management ICs Assist engineers and design PCB layouts using CAD tools, build the prototypes, work with SMD components and test them Test and validate new ICs by using laboratory equipment Learn and write/develop PIC microcontroller C/C++ code, if necessary Support customer’s design and offer guidance Assist with creating technical documentation, test reports

Requirements/Qualifications:
3rd / 4th year student in Automatics, Electronics and Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering Faculty Basic knowledge of analog circuits applications, DC/DC power supplies is a plus Knowledge of SMD electronic components and using bench tools (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes) Experience with a CAD tool for designing PCB layouts (Altium, Eagle, Target, OrCAD) C/C++ programming for MCU experience is a plus Good knowledge of English and good communications skills Ability to learn and ability to work in a team
