The site has almost 300 engineers, 99% of them doing software providing leading software for the semiconductor industries, delivering for all major company businesses: Automotive, IoT, Digital networking.
Plan and test the usability improvements added to Config tools suite Work closely with the development team and develop solutions for tool validation
Create Test Plans and Test Cases based on software requirements and review them with the development team and product architect to close the gaps.
Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues
Contribute to the automation of unit, functional and system level testing
You will be part of an international team and contribute to Config Tools suite by testing new features and support for new NXP devices, following internal process specifications.
This solution is not only intended to solve the configuration/editing/debugging process, but also to be the foundation for a whole suite of tools that cover the entire embedded application creation process. The architecture allows third parties to integrate their homegrown or commercial development tools directly into the same environment, presenting developers a single, highly integrated user experience.
This technology is a component based architecture that will be the basis for future products. The flexible architecture will allow us to quickly deploy new tools in a multitude of configurations.
- 3rd or 4th year in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics
- Basic knowledge of Java programming language, SWTBot - framework API, Junit
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python)
- Understanding of Systems architecture
- Knowledge of embedded development systems
- Analytical/problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English
