  • list item Develop and optimize low-level drivers for latest NXP microcontrollers and processors, transceivers, power management integrated circuits, following ISO26262 with safety and security requirements.

  • list item In-Vehicle Networking: Develop drivers for automotive ethernet layer 1 (Phy) and layer 2 (Switch) devices;

  • list item Power Management Integrated Circuits

  • list item Assure an out of the box experience by creating examples, system applications, user manuals, IDE integration (S32 Design Studio, Tresos), multiple compilers support;

  • list item Create and maintain requirements, design, architecture, configuration, code and tests for different parts of the product (different drivers);

  • list item Collaborate with multiple teams (hardware design, PCB design, system, customer support etc.).

Your team

As Embedded Software Engineer for Advanced Analog Software Team (AASW) you will develop high quality embedded low-level software for our software drivers following the AUTOSAR automotive standard and also non-AUTOSAR requirements. Your profile

Must have skills:

  • list item Student attending Computer Science, Electronics/Telecom or Informatics faculty;

  • list item Programming experience (ANSI C);

  • list item ARM architecture know-how;

  • list item Makefile, scripting language;

  • list item Experience with MCU peripherals and external devices like power management devices, transceivers, external flash, etc.;

  • list item Debugging skills for embedded targets and low level software;

  • list item English language (spoken and written).

The following are pluses:

  • list item Developing SW following the AUTOSAR specifications;

  • list item Basic networking and protocols knowledge (e.g. OSI model, TCP/IP, Wireshark)

  • list item Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay);

  • list item Basic knowledge of security concepts;

  • list item Electronics and working with data acquisition equipment, logic analyzer, oscilloscope;
