• list item Get yourself familiar with the SW development process of our Layer-1 team.

• list item Contribute to the execution of our SW development, by applying the knowledge acquired during your internship.

• list item Collaborate with team members, partners and stakeholders, convey status reports.

Your team

NXP’s 5G Access Edge technologies, based on the open O-RAN architecture, let designers deploy tailored 5G solutions faster while giving them an easier, more cost-effective way to maintain, upgrade and extend their 5G capabilities. We are a diversified team with high energy, an open collaboration environment and eagerness for continuous improvement.

You will be part of the Layer-1 Software team, developing the 5G NR Layer-1 Software Enablement Software.

Your profile To be successful in this role you have:

• list item Student of the Faculty of Telecommunications and Information Technology or Computer Science

• list item Passion about data transmission and wireless communication systems

• list item Solid theoretical background from the faculty of data transmission and wireless protocol stacks

• list item Good programming expertise

An advantage would be for you to have:

• list item Experience with DSP and algorithms during your faculty projects.

• list item Knowledge of MATLAB is a bonus.

• list item Knowledge on how embedded systems work.
