What are we looking for?
You will be part of team developing, running and maintaining the group application that manages the devices installed by Orange for our customers – gateways, tv decoders, wifi extenders – CPE (Customer Premise Equipment). The management of CPEs is standardized through the Broadband Forum organization by the CWMP - CPE WAN Management Protocol.
On your day to day activity you will be using the application to perform validation tests for new CPE devices – ensure that the respective device complies with our application that implements the CWMP standard and that it performs all the business and technical functionalities specified. When tests will not pass, you will be performing basic troubleshooting and document the defect for transfer to the manufacturer of the device.
Through the daily activity you will discover / use networking concepts and techniques along with basic linux usage, in an international work environment with Orange group stakeholders and International manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
Execution of the integration test plan
Investigate – provide details for the issues found.
Document the issues found
What you should know:
Basic knowledge of Linux systems (system and network parameters)
Scripting skills: bash, Python, etc.
Experience with databases - MySQL
Network concepts: switching, load balancing, routing, firewalls, IPs, DNS
Languages:
