ThemeIsle is a passionate tech team dedicated to building innovative and user-friendly in-house WordPress products. We create themes and plugins that enhance the WordPress experience for hundreds of thousands of users worldwide, prioritizing quality, design, and usability.

What Will You Be Working On?

You will:

• Develop and maintain our in-house WordPress themes, plugins, and internal tools.
• Gain hands-on experience with technologies that power the web.
• Experience working with codebases that power products used by up to 600,000 users.
• Improve the UI/UX across our range of WordPress products.
• Learn how to optimize WordPress applications for performance, security, and SEO.
• Engage in real-world tasks that directly impact our user base.
• Learn how to leverage AI tools in your workflow.

The internship will start on 1 July 2026. Its duration will be 3 months, with full-time, in-office attendance at our Bucharest office.

What Kind of People Are We Looking For?

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have good communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Have a good understanding of core computer science concepts.

The Selection Process

The test is structured as a take-home assignment in which you build a simple web app.

After reviewing your submitted project, selected candidates will be invited to an interview to further discuss the opportunity and explore their potential fit within our team. In the case of a high volume of applications, please note that individual feedback may not be provided.
