About The Internship Program

Are you a student passionate about infrastructure and eager to transition from a "Classic SysAdmin" mindset to becoming a Cloud Operations Engineer? Our internship program is designed to give you real-world exposure to the SAP Basis ecosystem, specifically focusing on the evolution toward RISE with SAP. You will work alongside experienced engineers to manage the "nervous system" of global enterprises, moving beyond traditional administration into the cutting-edge world of Cloud architectures and In-Memory computing.

The Impact You Will Create

Join us for a 3-month internship where you’ll:

• Administer and monitor SAP HANA systems, gaining deep insights into how they operate almost exclusively on Linux environments.
• Support Cloud Integration by configuring and securing communication tunnels (TLS/SSL) between client environments and the SAP Cloud.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by using Python, Bash, or Ansible to automate routine system health checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate on RISE with SAP projects, learning how to manage resource abstraction across major Hyperscalers
• Explore SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and learn how to integrate modern cloud services (PaaS) with the core ERP.
• Perform Full-Stack Troubleshooting, correlating application error logs with cloud network latency or database performance spikes.

Experience And Skills You Will Need

• Educational Background: You are a fresh graduate or a last-year student in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Linux Core Knowledge:Understanding of memory management, kernel parameters, and file systems (XFS, NFS).
• Networking Foundations: Solid grasp of the TCP/IP stack, DNS, Load Balancing, and the importance of SSL/TLS certificates.
• Database Awareness:Knowledge of RDBMS concepts (indexing, transaction logs) and a strong interest in In-Memory Computing.
• Cloud Curiosity: An interest in Hyperscaler architectures; basic certifications (like AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
• Automation Mindset:Basic scripting skills (Python or Bash) and a desire to "never do the same manual task twice."
• Analytical Rigor: Great problem-solving skills and the ability to follow complex technical procedures with high attention to detail.
• Communication: Professional proficiency in English for technical documentation and collaboration with international support teams.
